Leith Community Pottery CIC
is pleased to announce dates for our Summer and Autumn courses for 2023.
This year, we are introducing a weekly hand – building class, with tuition from Ceramicist Sarah Collins, MA Design.
The course will run for 8 weeks, on Monday afternoons, and will cover a range of building and modelling techniques. 5 places will be available on each course.
Summer 2023
On the Wheel:
Tuesday 1st August – Tuesday 26th September, 6 – 8.30pm (9 weeks)
Wednesday 2nd August – Wednesday 27th September, 6 – 8.30pm (9 weeks)
Friday 4th August – Friday 29th September, 2 – 4.30pm (9 weeks)
Course fee, £360. All materials, tools and firing included.
Hand-building:
Monday 14th August – Monday 25th September, 1.00 – 3.30pm (8 weeks)
Course fee, £300. All materials, tools and firing included.
Autumn 2023

Tuesday 17th October – Tuesday 19th December, 6 – 8.30pm (10 weeks)
Wednesday 18th October – Wednesday 20th December, 6 – 8.30pm (10 weeks)
Friday 20th October – Friday 22nd December, 2 – 4.30pm (10 weeks)
Course fee, £395. All materials, tools and firing included.
Hand-building:
Monday 23rd October – Monday 11th December, 1.00 – 3.30pm (8 weeks)
Course fee, £300. All materials, tools and firing included.

In August 2023 we will once again be presenting an Exhibition as part of Edinburgh Fringe Festival, exact dates to be confirmed.
The Exhibition will include ceramics by Andy Lang and by Sarah Collins.
There will also be jewellery in copper and silver by local maker Alex Staerck (Itinerant Treasure) Instagram: @itineranttreasure
and drawings and paintings by Edinburgh artist Liana Moran (Edinburgh Illustrations). www.lianamoran.com
We will host an Opening Event on Saturday 5th August, 5 – 8pm.
