Winter Sale of “Slightly Imperfect Pots”!!
We’ll be having a sales event on the evening of
Friday 29th November, 6 – 9pm and on Saturday 30th from 1pm till 7pm.
This is part of the “Fair Saturday” initiative, designed as an antidote to the Black Friday greed fest!
All the usual stock will be available, along with a range of reduced price “slightly imperfect” and “end of the range” pots.
There will also be a range of copper and silver jewellery available, from local maker, Itinerant Treasure.
Complimentary drinks and mince pies will be on offer on the Friday evening!
Tea Pots
I’ve recently been producing a new range of tea pots, using cane and bamboo handles. This is something I haven’t done before (always been a “pulled handles” kind of guy) and I’ve been enjoying the challenge of the design and calculating the shrinkage to fit the handles.

Fair Saturday Scotland, a day to boost arts, culture and social empathy
Fair Saturday Scotland is our contribution to the international celebration of Fair Saturday which is a global mobilisation that aims to create a positive social impact following Black Friday, the greatest expression of consumerism. Artists and cultural organisations from across Scotland and all around the world will get together in a global movement with one requirement: to support a social cause of their choice through their event.
How do events support social projects?
- Highlight the work of the social project.
- Help them spread their message through their communication channels and give them some time before the show to share it with the audience.
- Generate funds for the chosen project by freely and voluntarily donating part of the value generated through the event (tickets, donations, etc.).
